Terms and Conditions
For your safety as well as ours
The exhibition venue can be found in the registration form used. The start of the event is the first day open to visitors (not the setup day), unless otherwise stated in the registration form.
The setup and dismantling times will be communicated separately with the dispatch of the exhibitor documents.
Participation as an exhibitor is exclusively reserved for entrepreneurs within the meaning of Section 14 of the German Civil Code (BGB). Consumers within the meaning of Section 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB) are not permitted. Lorenz GmbH is entitled to request suitable proof of entrepreneurial status and to reject registrations.
Registrations will only be accepted after successful digital or written registration using the registration form and must be completed in full.
Open registration form (online)
By registering, consent is given to electronic communication between Lorenz GmbH and the applicant. The exhibitor agrees that information about their participation may be distributed via electronic media, including the internet. An objection may be submitted to Lorenz GmbH by letter, email, or fax.
The version of these Terms and Conditions valid at the time of registration shall apply in each case. Any subsequent amendments shall only apply to contracts concluded thereafter, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
By submitting the application or registration, the exhibitor acknowledges the participation and exhibition conditions as binding for themselves and for all persons employed by them at the event.
Statutory labor and trade regulations, in particular those relating to environmental protection, fire protection, accident prevention, company designation, and price labeling, must be complied with.
Exhibitor data is processed for the performance of the contract pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Details are provided in our privacy policy at wolle-festival.de/legal/privacy.
Exhibitors shall treat co-exhibitors, visitors, and the organizers staff with respect. Insults, aggressive behavior, and encouraging third parties to engage in conduct that breaches contractual obligations or harms the business interests of {0} are prohibited and entitle the organizer to immediately exclude the exhibitor from the current as well as future events.
Admission of exhibitors is decided by Lorenz GmbH, which is entitled to reject registrations. Exclusion of competitors may neither be requested nor guaranteed.
Admission once granted may be revoked if the requirements for admission are not or are no longer fulfilled.
Stand allocations are carried out by Lorenz GmbH according to criteria defined by the concept and the exhibition theme. The date of receipt of the registration is not decisive. Special requests will be considered where possible but do not constitute an entitlement.
Exhibitors are provided exclusively with floor space without any additional stand construction. Additional requests such as furniture or electricity must be applied for in good time via Lorenz GmbH and will be invoiced. No guarantee is given for late orders placed during the setup day.
Projections, pillars, columns, and installation connections are part of the allocated stand space. Any reduction in value or rent reduction cannot be claimed on this basis.
Exhibitors are requested to register at the information desk before setting up their stand. There they will receive exhibitor passes, which grant access to the exhibition hall. Two passes are provided free of charge. A fee of 7.00 EUR will be charged for each additional pass.
Any additional stand space required for participatory activities or demonstrations will be provided to the exhibitor free of charge for the weekend. This space must be clearly visible to visitors in the front area of the stand and must not be located behind the stand.
The design and equipment of the stands are the responsibility of the exhibitors. In the interest of a positive overall appearance, exhibition stands must be attractively designed. This includes, in particular, floor-length table decorations.
The exhibitor is solely responsible for ensuring that neither they, their employees, their stand, nor their exhibits violate any statutory or official regulations. In particular, fire safety regulations must be observed. Installation and fire protection facilities must remain accessible at all times.
Only the goods specified in the registration form may be offered. Otherwise, Wolle Festival may prohibit the sale of undeclared goods. Goods may be sold that are handmade and self-produced or machine-produced in small series. Industrial goods and materials for the manufacture of products are permitted provided they are suitable for Wolle Festival. Animal furs may not be offered.
The organizer is responsible for cleaning the hall and aisles. Cleaning of the stands is the responsibility of the exhibitors and must be completed daily before the exhibition opens. Any disposal costs incurred will be charged according to the polluter-pays principle and invoiced subsequently. The stand area must be left broom-clean after dismantling. If waste is left behind, a flat fee of 100.00 EUR will be charged.
Sound as well as film, video, and music performances must be registered prior to the event and approved in writing. The exhibitor is obliged to notify GEMA and bear any applicable fees themselves.
Advertising outside the rented stand space is generally not permitted. Distribution of advertising material is only allowed within the stand or with prior written consent from Lorenz GmbH. Any unauthorized third-party advertising is strictly prohibited, will be charged a flat fee of 100.00 EUR, and sanctioned with a market ban.
The exhibitor is not permitted, without the consent of Lorenz GmbH, to transfer their stand space in whole or in part to third parties, to exchange or relocate it, or to accept orders for companies that have not been registered.
The inclusion of a co-exhibitor is only permitted with the written consent of Lorenz GmbH.
General security is provided by Lorenz GmbH without liability for loss or damage.
The exhibitor is solely responsible for the security of their stand and exhibition goods and is therefore liable for damage to exhibition items, stand equipment, and any consequential damage.
This also applies to setup and dismantling times, before the start and after the end of the event.
Each exhibitor is advised of the increased duty of care outside the scope of general security.
Stands may remain overnight during 2-day events. The following applies: once all exhibitors have jointly left the hall, the premises will be locked overnight.
However, the organizer assumes no liability for the exhibited goods.
Except in cases of intent, gross negligence, or breach of essential contractual obligations, Lorenz GmbH shall not be liable for any damages incurred by the exhibitor, irrespective of the legal basis.
If the event cannot be held due to force majeure or official orders for which Wolle Festival is not responsible, Wolle Festival is entitled to cancel, close, shorten, or reschedule the event.
In the event of final cancellation prior to the start of the event, the mutual obligations to perform shall lapse; any payments already made toward the stand rental will be refunded.
Further claims, in particular claims for damages, loss of profit, or reimbursement of expenses, are excluded insofar as legally permissible.
Additional services already commissioned or incurred may be invoiced to the exhibitor if they were demonstrably incurred and cannot be canceled.
The exhibitor shall have no entitlement to a specific number of visitors, a particular level of advertising activity, or any specific economic success resulting from participation with a stand. Weather conditions, general market conditions, and other circumstances beyond the control of Lorenz GmbH shall not give rise to any claim for price reduction, withdrawal, or damages.
If the exhibitor terminates their participation prematurely and at their own discretion, they shall not be entitled to a (partial) refund of the stand fee.
The participation or stand fee consists of:
a) Organization and service fee (80 %): including processing and communication, accounting and administrative expenses, hall and stand planning, allocation of stand numbers, maintenance and modification of exhibitor lists and online information, as well as internal process planning.
b) Stand space and infrastructure fee (20 %): provision and use of the stand space on the event date, plus any separately booked additional services such as electricity, furniture, or other services.
Cancellation is only permitted in text form up to 90 calendar days before the start of the event.
In the event of timely cancellation, the exhibitor owes the organization and service fee (80 %) as a lump-sum reimbursement of expenses. The stand space and infrastructure fee (20 %) will not be charged or, if already paid, will be refunded. Any additional services already commissioned or incurred will be invoiced separately.
After the expiry of 90 calendar days before the start of the event, cancellation is excluded; the participation fee is due in full.
If the exhibitor does not appear or does not put the stand space into operation in due time, the participation fee is also due in full; in addition, a processing fee of 25.00 EUR may be charged.
The exhibitor retains the right to prove that Lorenz GmbH incurred no or significantly less expense or damage. Lorenz GmbH retains the right to prove higher expense or damage.
The rental prices are stated in the registration form. All amounts are net plus statutory VAT.
The stand rental must be paid by bank transfer no later than 6 weeks before the event.
If payment is not received, no later than six weeks before the event, the exhibitor shall forfeit their right to the stand space without the need for a prior reminder. In such case, Lorenz GmbH shall be entitled to reassign the stand at its discretion. The participation fee shall remain unaffected and shall remain payable in full; in addition, an administrative fee of EUR 25.00 will be charged. The exhibitor reserves the right to prove that Lorenz GmbH has suffered no damage or substantially less damage.
By way of exception, Lorenz GmbH may, after prior agreement, permit short-term payment, for example shortly before the event or on site. There is no entitlement to this. In this case, a reasonable processing fee of 25.00 EUR may be charged.
Oral agreements and arrangements that deviate from these participation conditions require text form to be legally effective.
Lorenz GmbH is entitled to take photographs and make video recordings during the event and to use the material for advertising purposes (website, Facebook, mailings, etc.). The same applies to photographs provided by the exhibitor and to press representatives approved by Lorenz GmbH.
The organizer exercises domiciliary rights on the exhibition grounds and is entitled to take action in the event of violations of these terms and conditions, statutory regulations, or official orders, including immediate expulsion from the event. This applies in particular in cases of disruption of the orderly conduct of the event, aggressive or insulting behavior towards co-exhibitors, visitors, or staff, as well as encouraging third parties to engage in conduct that breaches contractual obligations.
An exclusion on these grounds shall not affect the exhibitor's obligation to pay; in such case, the exhibitor shall have no claim to a refund of any stand fees already paid or due.
In the event of serious or repeated violations, Lorenz GmbH shall be entitled to exclude the exhibitor concerned from participating in future events. In such case, there shall be no entitlement to renewed admission.
Lorenz GmbH shall be entitled to terminate the contractual relationship with an exhibitor with immediate effect for good cause, including with respect to already confirmed future event dates, in particular in the event of repeated or particularly serious violations of these Terms and Conditions or the house rules. Any stand fees already paid shall not be refunded in such case.
In the event of outstanding claims, setup or occupation of the stand space may be prohibited until full payment has been made. Overnight stays in the exhibition hall are prohibited. Smoking is prohibited in enclosed spaces.
Should any provision of these participation and exhibition conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The parties shall promptly replace the invalid provision with a valid one that comes closest to the economic purpose of the invalid provision.
If the exhibitor is a merchant, a legal entity under public law, or a special fund under public law, then – insofar as legally permissible – Dessau-Roßlau shall be the exclusive place of jurisdiction.
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply.
